The ability to delve deeper into a story through a series of episodes instead of forcing everything into a ninety-minute run time has allowed horror artists to intimately tell their terror tales. Creator Jason Hough presents the Horror-Nation a new sultry series with his latest production, The Devil’s Dancers. With Canadian Scream Queen August Kyss and iconic superstar Lynn Lowry included in the all-star cast, expectations will be high for this dark descent into darkness.
The Queen of the underworld herself, Lilith, is setting a table for which demons will feast upon humankind forever. Lilith begins the war with her possessed daughters slowly turning and devouring the innocent, and not so innocent, across the United States. The blood-soaked rip tide is not without some ripples, as the demons enter into battle. Will the underworld claim its stakes upon the humans, or will light prevail over the incoming darkness?
The Devil’s Dancers is a blood-soaked series that has both enough action to keep the pace pulsating and enough sexy seduction to keep horror hounds salivating. Jason Hough does a good job directing, using terrific shot selection through each episode, and a great job writing a terror tale that is a new spin on an age-old saga. August Kyss serves up a terrific course as a host into each new story, the dish comes with equal parts comedy and tragedy. Sammy Morningstar, Caitlin McEachran, Rya Bolger-Nieves, and Samantha Hopson, drive the narrative with great psychological and physical performances. Lowry shines with each of her episodic cameos, once more showing the world why she is a national treasure. The Devil’s Dancers is available to view for free on Bloodstream.
