From time to time we seem to find that diamond in the rough when watching a new horror film; something that tickles our fancy. Blood Clots is one of those films. In the horror genre there is a slew of anthologies but Blood Clots has something new to give.
Blood Clots is an American anthology horror film that features 7 “clots,” commonly known as short stories or segments. From werewolves to that are compared to killer bats, blood lusting giant jellyfish creatures, to Cthulhu dinner guests. The gore and hilarious creatures equally broaden the lust for these horror segments. The CGI and special effects were exceptionally executed as well as the incredible cinematography. Watching Blood Clots was hard to tell the true low budget feel of the films. Each one had their own sweet spot and needed what every scary story should have; attention grabbing curiosities. All of the “clots” had their own sub-genre and shock value in the end. Starring Brooke Smith (Silence of the Lambs), Evan Arnold, and Harry Sinclair. Directed by Nick Spooner, Evan Hughes, Luke Guidici, Patrick Longstreth, Robert McClean, Martyn Pick, Carl Timms, and Sid Zanforlin.
