Dorian Wilde’s macabre paintings are on exhibit at an Art show. They are purchased by a family that have no idea what each painting has in store for them. Each painting resembles a deadly sin that sucks each person’s inner wants and needs into its demise. Art of the Dead features a strong cast with exceptional ability to play each part that pertains to their sin. You get to understand and know each character, almost on a personal main character basis. Art of the Dead is a low budget film but the amount of special effects and cinematography, you’d never know. The film covers the backstory on the paintings which was a treat that left the imagination open to what could happen next.
Art of the Dead was almost flawless. It was hard to find much criticism in the film. This film has an anthology type of feel. If you enjoy films that are easy to follow and catch your attention, then this is the one for you!
