Cancel your Shudder subscriptions, horror nation. Aside from the religious price increases and the hit-or-miss selection of horror, get your horror fix where myself and 3.5 million other people gravitate towards to see films that continuously put mainstream media to shame.
Alter is a Youtube channel that features a bevy of mind-bending, thought provoking horror from a bevy of creators. They not only have a massive following on Youtube, but offer free streaming channels on CW, DIRECT TV, LG channels, SAMSUNG TV+, SLING Free stream and TUBI.
Since discovering the latter, this denizen of the horror nation has left his television on TUBI for days, swapping between the offerings of both TUBI and Alter.
The content seen on the channel is not only a great horror community and the launching pad for some great storytellers, but some of the content is curated by like-minded people of the horror nation, giving the channel a personal feel. It’s almost as if one were transported back to the days of their local mom and pop video store, getting recommendations from the weird dude in the Reefer Madness T-shirt working the counter.
This reviewer could sing the praises of the channel itself for another ten pages and the content on said page until HBO MAX gains the rights to stream Tales from the Crypt, but I will not.
That is all time you could spend watching the library of well crafted, spell-binding tales found on Alter.
