I:Scream is harkening back to the time of the 1950’s monster movies, or, more recently, 1986’s Little Shop of Horrors remake,
Charlie, a scientist, is infatuated with Logainne who agrees to join him on a wholesome date revolving around great conversation and ice cream sundaes.
The date is put on hiatus when Logainne attends the town’s CCG competitions.
When DNA altering chemicals fall into the frozen minty treat the two were meant to bond over, the delectable dairy dessert becomes sentient, bringing with it an insatiable hunger.
Charlie teams up with his shady former ice cream vendor, Reggie, to try to warn Logainne of impending danger, as well as trying to figure out how to stop Minty. To add to Charle’s woes, he is being chased by a bully cop named Barry Griswold.
The trailer will leave the viewer thirsting for more. It is full of hilarious performances, delightfully cheesy special effects, bright colors and catchy music.
If the horror nation is looking to fill the void left from Rocky Horror and Little Shop, keep your eyes(and ears) open for I:Scream, slated for release in the fall of 2025.
