From the tragedy that struck the set of The Twilight Zone film to consistent social media blast of set drama, the tensions of making a horror film have always captured the attention of genre fans. Popular shows such as The Film Behind The Film, have often brought more attention to works than the films themselves. In an original concept, horror artist Francesco Monti (Project Paranoia) attempts to bridge the blurred lines between fiction and non-fiction with his latest film project, Blood.
As many indie film companies have been founded, two friends begin the daunting journey into making a low-budget horror film. Tensions on set and behind the scenes begin to rise before exploding into chaos. A chaos that leads to bodies dropping both on the screen and on the set.
Wes Craven set the bar high with Meta films when Scream hit the slasher screen in 1996. Monti, along with executive producer Spyder Dobrofsky (Teardrop,) will attempt to bring the Horror Nation another great gory glimpse behind the camera as other great Meat films have, such as Behind the Mask, The Rise of Leslie Vernon. Blood will feature an all-star cast featuring: Van McInish (Avengers: Infinity War) Chris Driver (Airplane Mode) Marty Glynn (Shelby Oaks) Molly Dakota (Survival of the Apocalypse) Holly Dominique (Mirage) Stephanie Knirk (Sanctus House) Nicolas Teixeira (The Wedding Game) Kevin Hagler, Jason Barnes, and David Moore.
Horror-Nation will keep the fans up to date with trailers and release dates.
