Liz Taylor

-Co-owner-

Hi there horror fam! I’m Liz, a crazy for horror film lover and co-owner of Horror Nation who was born and bred right out of Southern California. Growing up in the movie capital has always given me a love and interest in film. My very first horror film was Night of the Living Dead (1968) when I was just 5 years old. Ever since I popped my mom’s VHS in the player and watched Karen kill her mom in the basement scene I knew I was going to love horror, and have since.

I grew up in the late 80s and 90s when the horror genre was exploding with gore, nudity, and best of all, the most visually appealing special effects ever made. My first love has always been zombie films (yes, the bloody, decomposing “brains” type of undead specimans). All though, I do enjoy the classics as well as anything with the most handsome and ghoulish Vincent Price. Do I have a favorite film? Yes and no. I do but, I have so many that I couldn’t just name one but what horror fan can? If I had to choose one, I’d have to say, Return of the Living Dead!

My love for horror has taken me to a whole new world. The horror community has to have the best people and talent I’ve ever seen. I love my horror family and am always willing to help fellow filmmakers and horror artists of any kind. I enjoy sharing content daily and am always open to recommend any horror film to anyone who wants to hear it lol. I can talk about horror, old and new all day, every day.
