The Fear Footage sent shivers down the spines of the Horror Nation in 2018. Presented with tremendous shot selections, beastly b-roll sound, and claustrophobic close ups, writer/director Ricky Umberger presented a terrifying found footage film that rivaled any other film in this unique sub-genre. Umberger returns this October with his next feature, Project Eerie. The talented director will attempt to recapture the terror with this new anthology, with the hopes of bringing new lore to found footage fans.

Wanting to do something sinister on Halloween, Jesse and Jacob, two teenagers, decide to break into an abandoned building. The teens discover a DVD labeled Project Eerie. The footage on the disc gives the two boys the Halloween horror show of a lifetime.

A father and daughter escape to the forest for a nice escape. The retreat turns into a non-stop tension filled terror train.

Two good ole boys attempt to hunt down a suspected killer on the loose but find a much deadlier otherworldly prey.

A paranormal team investigates odd occurrences that are plaguing an Amish community. As the team unravels the mystery, they unknowingly become part of a haunting horror show.

Project Eerie is a rare terror trip that will leave audiences psychologically scarred. Umberger unleashes his talents all over each segment, giving the viewer an up close and personal ride down three terrifying tales. Each segment has a different style and tone, which presents a detailed plot behind the mystery of the hidden footage. All of the performers give solid altruistic performances that keeps the viewer emotionally attached throughout the entire film. A staple for great anthologies is to be able to tie the entire film together. Umberger brilliantly does this by wrapping up the film with enough detail to satisfy the audience, but also leaving more mysteries to be discovered.
